SEM is basically paying Search Engines Like Google, Yahoo, and Bing to get better results to your Website. This also helps your business get found better on SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) when customers are looking for your product, or service. This is also called PPC (Pay Per Click), some of us say it’s a pay to play Internet Strategy. There are several factors on getting good results besides just paying to play for an SEM program. For example, Google has a formula like a Credit score, which they call a Quality Score. Google’s Quality Score uses different weights on certain factors such as the relevance, and quality of your landing page, click through rate (CTR), bounce rate, Ad Content, Ad Relevance, history of your AdWords performance, Ad bids, and much more. This determines how much you pay per click, and where your ad can potentially land on SERPs.
